Whenever possible, we like to include double vanities in the master ensuite for couples, giving each their own defined space without getting cluttered. The warm antiqued finish on the cabinetry was achieved by using a taupe wash with charcoal glaze technique. Designed by Susan Orfald.

The master ensuite's spacious shower includes a textured tile detail & built-in bench for added comfort, doubling as a toiletry shelf. Out in the distance stands a tall linen cabinet fit into the wall to the right. Designed by Susan Orfald.

In the lower level, the vanity & mirror were designed in a reflective image of the family room wall unit, to unify the space as a whole. As the upper level bathrooms (shown next) have a lighter, more feminine touch, we thought it suiting that the lower level be more masculine & earthy. Designed by Philip Bielmann.

This raised panel guest bath vanity welcomes its visitors with features to make them feel at home. The oval mirror swivels on the framing columns & adjoining crown moulding, with sconces built in to provide ideal lighting. Designed by Susan Orfald.

This powder room vanity was designed in a Frameless Inset Panel style with a bowed sink front, as followed through in the granite top. An arched, lit niche with glass shelves & a mirrored back was built in to the adjacent divider wall separating the vanity from the toilet on the other side. Designed by Susan Orfald.

To reflect the shape of the vanity, this freestanding piece also has a bowed front. The mid-tone granite picks up on the white of the cabinetry & baseboards, while transitioning into the darker, contrasting colour of the walls. Designed by Susan Orfald.
